About Pastor D. Eric Williams
|
Greetings and welcome in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is D-Eric-Williams.com, the internet outreach and education ministry of Pastor D. Eric Williams. I'm an Inland Northwest native who has ministered throughout the Mountain-West region since 1988 and maintained a web presence from 1998. In addition to my current pastorate at Cottonwood Community Church I'm also Chaplain of the Idaho State Veterans Home in Lewiston Idaho. My BA is from the University of the State of New York and MA from the Southern California Graduate School of Theology; I'm ordained with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. My wife, Kimberly, and I are in our 26th year of marriage; we have nine children ranging in age from 4 years to 24 years old. We have been a home-school family for 19 years - and counting.
Over the past twenty years I've pastored in Spokane Washington, Denver Colorado, American Falls Idaho, Cottonwood Idaho and Lewiston Idaho. I've written dozens of essays and articles on a wide variety of topics (a small portion of which appear on this site). My interests include Biblical and Practical theology and education and cultural issues. My articles have been published in several regional and local periodicals. At one time I also produced a regular humor column for The Adams County Record in Council Idaho.
My ministry is focused on Christ centered expository Bible teaching that is covenantal in nature. My goal is to help families fulfill the kingdom mandate by developing a Christian worldview firmly founded on biblical truth. I am available for a limited number of "outside" speaking engagements each year and would be glad to consider an invitation from your chruch or organization. Over the next several months my primary focus will be, Cultivating The New Creation: God's Key To The Vital Christian Life.
